10am-1pm
You're invited to join us for Howey's Third Annual Water Safety Festival! On May 16 (National Learn to Swim Day), we will be hosting a FREE FAMILY EVENT at the Sugar Land Town Center to help promote year-round water safety and drowning prevention. Last year we had over 30 vendors, and this year we expect even more!
- Water Safety Education
- Interactive Presentations
- CPR Education
- Crafts
- Games
- Bounce Houses
- Food Trucks
- Face Painting
- Prizes
- and more!
We'll have fun presentations by the US Coast Guard and Stop Drowning Now, CPR education from American Heart Association instructors, crafts, games, face painting, and prizes.
Howey will also be hosting a raffle with a variety of fun gift baskets! Plus, there will be music, dance-offs with Howey the Dolphin, and more kid-friendly fun than we can fit on a webpage!
ALL of the proceeds from this festival will be donated directly to Stop Drowning Now, a drowning prevention non-profit dedicated to saving lives across the US! 100% of raffle ticket sales will be donated to SDN.
As a local family-owned swim school, we've been serving the Houston area for over 60 years and leading the way towards drowning prevention for our communities. We have a passion for keeping kids (and adults!) safe in and around the water, and we're SO EXCITED to be bringing this festival to our families. As the summer approaches, you can also browse our website for helpful safety and swimming tips.
You can visit our Facebook Event Page for up-to-the-minute updates about the festival. Did you know that the month of May is Water Safety Month? If you aren't already following us on social media, please hit that follow button today!
