New swimmers ages 2 1/2 through 13 will start off in our Two-Week Intensive Session. As the name implies, you'll swim Monday through Friday for 2 weeks with the same instructor. This gets your child quickly adjusted to the new instructor, new environment, as well as our teaching methods. These classes begin every 2 weeks and run year-round thanks to our heated, indoor pools!
If your child is under 5, they'll be starting out in the Guppy Level. If they are over 5, they'll be in the Catfish Level with other children close to their age.

Guppies will learn how to be comfortable in the water and build a strong foundation for their swimming skills. They'll learn safety, submersion, floating on their back, and how to be independent in the pool.
Catfish will be learning to be comfortable underwater while gaining valuable safety skills, and will start learning the correct techniques for proper swimming.
