I am sending this message to let HSC know how happy I am with my daughter's swim lessons. She has been taking classes at this location since she was 1, and now at 3.5 she can swim unassisted on her own in a pool for hours. A few weeks ago we took her to a friend's pool and she started off swimming to me from the edge, then quickly switched over to swimming all around the pool on her own.
After that we went on vacation where we went swimming in pools several of the days. People kept commenting that she is "a fish" and another parent at a pool asked if she had done survival lessons since her similarly-aged child had done so and hated it (and was wearing puddle jumpers at the time).
Even though she loves the water and we never put her in floaties, I know the HSC swim classes made the difference in her abilities and confidence since I can see her using all of the skills that she has learned there like proper body positioning, easily turning over to float, grabbing the edge of the pool, and climbing out.
All of her instructors at HSC have been so great and caring with her and it is really awesome to see the results of what they have taught her.
