Woohoo! It was an epic day as we kicked off our 5th Annual Howey Invitational! Windy but otherwise perfect weather greeted us on Saturday, and our swimmers were all smiles, some of them who were experiencing a swim meet for the first time. We made it easy and fun, so with each lap, they were making waves and having a blast!
Families and friends gathered on the side, cheering and clapping for their hard working swimmers. Even those who couldn't be there in person joined the fun with our 360 livestream (until the camera died...oops). Meanwhile, on the grass, swimmers were chilling out, making new friends, and munching on snacks between races.
Our awesome coaches and staff, decked out in cool red superhero shirts, were there to lend a helping hand, spread good vibes and give coaching tips.
The Howey Invitational was packed with sixteen super fun events! Swimmers of all levels showed off their skills, from speedy strokes to thrilling relays. It was a day of challenges, triumphs, and lots of high-fives.
Whether they were seasoned pros or first-time racers, every swimmer got a huge round of applause. It didn't matter who came in first—everyone was a winner in our book!
But most importantly, we wanted everyone to feel like champions, whether they were trying to beat their time or just have a blast in the water. That's what it's all about—having fun, building confidence, and making memories that'll last a lifetime, because making memories for your family is our family business!
Big thanks to everyone who made the day unforgettable—swimmers, families, friends, and our awesome staff volunteers. You guys rock! And I, Howey, your mascot extraordinaire, had the most fun of all!
